I agree Christian, The By The Way release really brought me into liking the Chili Peppers a lot more even thought I had encountered them on videos on MTV the classic rock station I listen to rarely played them. By the Way was the first CD of the RHCP that I purchased all based on the album cover reminding me of a Blind Faith album cover. After listening to it I went out and bought the rest of their earlier releases.
It's incredible how they've remained such a great band for so many years. There has been no fade whatsoever.
